I hate shopping!!! I hate shopping for clothes, shoes, cars or anything and I have an ex who would testify to it. So, when it came time to shop for a house I was not looking forward to it! Fortunately, I had heard about Richard West from several California Dressage Riders who hired Richard to represent them when they purchased or sold their properties over the years, and in every case, I was told, the transactions went well and they were impressed with Richard’s professionalism and expertise in securing the best deal for them.

I have only lived in Sacramento for a few years so I wasn’t fully familiar with all of the different neighborhoods in Sacramento, Roseville, Orangevale and Rocklin but Richard was. I believe I told Richard more about what I didn’t want than what I wanted, that must have made it harder on him, but he listened and always kept my desires and needs as priority in finding the perfect home for me. Throughout the process I believe we considered over 100 homes and I believe it took about three or four months before the home I selected was all mine.

Richard West is a patient, kind man who was always positive and upbeat through the process. He was never pushy, we would go see four or five homes without finding one I wanted to bid on. And he would always be ready to have more homes to see in a short amount of time.

My time searching for a home with Richard was entirely enjoyable due to his lighthearted positive approach. And he has a great sense of humor. I would recommend him to anyone. His son, Tyler was a pleasure to have on several of our outings and is an up-and-coming professional too.

I highly recommend using Cristi to secure your mortgage loan as I did. Getting her prequalification endorsement helped me secure the home I wanted over other buyers. I got the best rate at the time and Cristi’s service was top-notch.

I still don’t like shopping that much but I wouldn’t ever use any other Real Estate expert; I would definitely go with Richard again! I give the West Team a perfect five-star rating.
